The Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX, Booth was designed to be portable, universal, and easy to be set up with a minimum of three people and a couple of tools. The full size of the booth was 30 feet long, eight feet deep, and 8 feet high. It was used for two years before being retired upon my hiatus from the program.

Module Sections

The booth was built with three sections, at 8, 10, and 12 feet wide, with internal shelves that could be moved in between them.

Universal Mounting

Each 2x4 board had the same mounting pattern, as did the 4x4 posts, so they could be used anywhere in the structure. This helped facilitate faster setup and tear down since only three boards had to be in specific locations, as well as the two computer shelves.

Compact Design

Since there was no special mounting brackets, the whole booth and all the equipment for demonstrations, fits in the back of a Chevy Suburban.
